Water
Please keep in mind that we are not the foremost
experts on Hydrogen gas.
We are just sharing our experience with you.
There really are differences in water: First
what NOT to use.
TAP WATER:
I know you have read tap water on several HHO sites but please DO NOT use
tap water.
Why do I say that?
I am not a chemist but that "common sense" thing tells me that
since we are turning water into a gas form creating Hydrogen and Oxygen
what about the other things that are put into tap water like Chlorine.
If we have broken the bonds of the two Hydrogen molecules free from the Oxygen
molecule did we not just free all the other chemical properties that may
be in tap water as well?
And if we did then the next step is to pass them through fire either in an
engine or torch.
I know for sure if you put Freon in an open flame you get Phosgene gas.
Would we not end up with Chlorine gas after we run our Hydrogen through an
engine or torch? If so then we just create a different ecological
problem while trying to solve another.
If I am wrong on this please let me know in the form of proof.
Otherwise I am sticking to my common sense guns and saying NO TAP WATER! What
is safe to use:
Rain water is by far the best to use. Its free and it is pure.
Distilled water is the next best choice because it too is pure.
