TLG-500 Wire Size Information
These charts reflect 12-volt systems. For
24-volt systems you can go up to 20% farther using the same wire size.
The data on this page shows
known bare minimums by TLG, successful customer installs, and optimum wire size
from TLG.
Use of heavier gauge wire will always provide better output results!

Minimum Wire Size
This is the absolute bare minimum
required to take advantage of the low wind output from a TLG-500.
In high wind events loss of power may occur.

Known Successful Wire Sizes
Provided by Owners
The chart shows wire size provided
by owners known to produce 1 amp at 5 mph (no loss in low winds)
However loss may occur in higher wind conditions by using this
chart. (none reported but possible)

Recommended for maximum performance in both low and high wind
conditions with minimal to no loss.
